Hyder

Hyder is small farming community located 16 miles Northeast of Dateland near the border of Yuma and Maricopa counties. During World War II, troops used the area as a desert training camp. Camp Horn and Camp Hyder were but two of the many camps that were part of the Desert Training Center/California-Arizona Maneuver Area (CAMA).
